Film dreams in Ufford

Fabulous day yesterday! I was speaking to 60 members of local Women's Institutes around Ufford about The Huntingfield Paintress. Some of the women have been to St Mary's Church in Huntingfield to see Mildred Holland's angel ceiling. I'm hoping I inspired those who haven't yet to visit.

Don't know why but I told the audience that I'm writing a film script about Mildred, the paintress, loosely based on my novel. It's the first time I've been open about that in public and it feels weird. But you have to start somewhere, don't you? Later this month, I'm spending at week at the Arvon Foundation on a screen writing course.
